This Terms of Service ("TOS" or "Terms") governs your access to and use of our game "Encounter: The Lost Cards," including any demo and full versions, and any related online services (collectively, the "Service"). This document is a legal agreement between you and Encounter GG ("we," "our," or "us").
This TOS supplements our End User License Agreement (EULA) and Privacy Policy. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by all three documents, as well as the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
a. Steam Account Required: You must have an active Steam account to use our Service. Your use of Steam is subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement ("SSA").
b. Binding Agreement: These Terms, our EULA, and Privacy Policy form a binding legal contract between you and Encounter GG. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
The Service may feature in-game digital items and currency ("Virtual Goods").
a. Limited License, Not Ownership: Virtual Goods are licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use Virtual Goods within the Service for personal entertainment.
b. No Monetary Value: Virtual Goods do not have an equivalent value in real currency.
c. Steam Community Market: The Service allows for the trading of Virtual Goods on the Steam Community Market. All such transactions are governed by the SSA and other Valve policies. We are not a party to these transactions.
d. Management of Virtual Goods: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to manage, modify, or eliminate Virtual Goods at any time without notice or liability.
e. No Refunds from Us: All acquisitions of Virtual Goods are final. You are not entitled to a refund from Encounter GG for any reason.
f. Direct Purchases: If we offer Virtual Goods for purchase with real money through the Service, all transactions will be processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Steam Wallet). You agree to abide by their terms. All such purchases are final and non-refundable.
You agree not to do any of the following in connection with the Service:
a. Use cheats, exploits, bots, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software. b. Exploit any bug or glitch to gain an unfair advantage. c. Engage in any activity designed to manipulate or disrupt the in-game economy or its interaction with the Steam Community Market. d. Attempt to disrupt or overburden our servers.
We reserve the right to investigate violations and take action at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. ENCOUNTER GG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING THE LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR VIRTUAL GOODS, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

The original version of this Agreement is in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and a translation, the English version shall govern and control.
